Hello! Sooo I had this idea of a forbidden love story between Bihan and the reader. The reader is a good friend of Liu Kang and was assigned to assist Kaui Liang and Tomas with the Shirai Ryu and becomes friends with them. Despite all that, Bihan was already in love with the reader because she's genuinely a good and innocent person and feels the need to be protective of her while the reader struggles with her feelings because he's now a traitor even though she's attracted to him.
How Could You
Prior notes: Reader: I think I’m in love with Bi-Han. Any thoughts?
Liu Kang: And prayers, you’re going to need them.
Pairing: Bi-Han x Afab reader
Warnings ‼️: Angst or even none. I don’t know you decide. I’m not your mom, Tyler!
Bi-Han was many things but you would have never imagined he would be a traitor to Earthrealm. It broke your heart to hear the news from Lord Liu Kang. But that feeling was swept away once he gave you more news.
“Not all hope is lost. Kuai Liang and Tomas have creating a new clan to defend Earthrealm. The Shirai Ryu. Your service is needed as I want you to help their clan grow strong. For now there are no threats but we can never be too careful.” He said.
You have your own mission now. A service to Lord Liu Kang, to the Shirai Ryu, and Earthrealm. But you can’t get over that feeling in your chest. That sorrow of Bi-Han being gone.
══💤══╡°˖✧🦊✧˖°╞══💤══
Your service was indeed needed. Finding the right initiates was difficult even with the help of Harumi. The only one who was able to bring any hope was Hanzo yet even he needed a lot of work.
Your personality made it easier. Your heart of gold attracted many to come. None wanted to disappoint you. If someone failed and they saw you frown they immediately fixed their errors just to see you smile and cheer them on.
Your need to care for others also helped greatly. If anyone was injured you were quick to patch them up and make sure they were well rested. It quenched people’s worries about being badly hurt and never recovering. If you can care for a little bunny who was only acting hurt for attention, you can take great care of a person.
You also grew closer to Kuai Liang and Tomas. Kuai Liang would have thought this task would be much more difficult even with the help of his wife. Seeing how you brought hundreds to the clan and continue to bring more made you a true gem to him. Tomas especially was grateful of your good deeds. You were useful when training the initiates as you were able to simplify instructions to the others comprehension. If Tomas wasn’t able to make them do what he wanted them to do he would have thrown in the towel way too early.
You even sparked a great relationship with Harumi and Hanzo. Harumi not only appreciated your help when it came to training but housing all the new initiates. You made everyone comfortable and placed them in the rooms they most likely wanted to stay in. You gathered food and helped cook as well. Cooking for hundreds was not an easy task but you were always willing to help and give the healthiest meals. Everyone needed to be in tip top shape. Hanzo, though a rambunctious teenager with great anger, was able to be calmed by your presence. I think he could sense that you have a good heart. You understood his frustration and how he had to survive by being a thief. You reassured him that those days are done and he is in good hands. He will become great and strong, you will make sure of that.
The Shirai Ryu was flourishing. The combined effort of everyone resulted in a fine clan. A clan you felt like could be as great as the Lin Kuei. Things looked up yet you still felt down about Bi-Han’s betrayal. You’re not alone in that and you knew it. You couldn’t let others find out about your feelings. So when the end of the day would come and you were left by yourself, your smile would falter. Tears would prick your eyes. You thought Bi-Han would be good, at least for you.
══💤══╡°˖✧🦊✧˖°╞══💤══
Bi-Han felt it was necessary to separate his clan from the binds of Lord Liu Kang. But at what cost.
He has earned them infamy which he could never accept. But he was forced to accept the fact that he lost you. He lost the one person who could warm his frozen heart. Hands that would hold his heart and let the ice melt.
Even when you two met there was a strange spark. You would always go next to him yet keep distance as to not upset him. You would say anything and everything to him when he never asked for him. At first he would tell you to shut up and leave him alone. No matter what you always came back. You would be hiding behind a tree and watching him from a distance just to get a glimpse of him.
You never knew why but Bi-Han made you feel things. Maybe it was his handsome face. Or that deep voice that when he grunted you felt something in your stomach. Or his muscles that seemed so fun to touch. Soon enough he started getting the hint.
You know what they say, opposites attract. Though he always found goodness to be a weakness he saw how it benefited. Whenever you visited the Lin Kuei wanted to impress you and so they worked harder than before. All those times Bi-Han would yell at them they never worked harder. But encouragement from you made them into fighting machines. Who would have thought.
Then you started to get real nice to him. That moment when you tucked that piece of loose hair behind his ear he always remembered to keep a loose strand of hair out. He wanted you to do it over and over again. Have your fingertips lightly graze his face and feel how warm you were against his cold skin. You noticed the effect it had on him and used it to your advantage to be closer to him.
He liked, no, loved when you praised him for his skills. It made him feel superior to everyone, including his brothers. Cause he should be superior to them as he was the grandmaster.
Bi-Han was disgusted by the people in his clan when they would make lewd comments about you. Comments about your chest, your hips, your thighs, your everything. Or when they criticize you for being too nice or too much of a goody two shoes. He didn’t know what came over him but he would end up nearly beating them to death during training. They’d act surprised that their grandmaster would do such a thing, nearly crippling some of his best fighters. But when it comes to you it doesn’t matter. He has to protect your honor. He has to protect you from the filthy eyes of lowlifes. You need his protection.
But your innocence. That was quite a shock to him.
Never had a kiss? Not even on the cheek? Well, he fixed that right up. When you confessed to him that you never gotten a kiss from a man he felt it was his duty to fix that. It’s an honor to be kissed by the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. Even a kiss on the cheek sent you into a spiral. His lips barely touched you! Yet you reacted as if you two had a five minute make out session. Your mouth was shut tight and you placed your forehead on his arm to help cool you down. Bi-Han couldn’t help it, he had a small smirk on his face which he hid from you. He could only imagine how you would have reacted if he did it on the lips.
But he might never know. Because he messed up by being a traitor. Some days he feels like he did the right thing by gaining the Lin Kuei’s freedom. While others he feels anger because he can’t be near you.
When he heard that you were helping the Shirai Ryu he went mad. Anything in his sight was targeted. Spikes made of ice littered the land. Their jagged and cold form matched how he felt in his heart.
Now who will protect you from the filthy pest of the world. Bi-Han doesn’t know where you are. The Shirai Ryu are too good at hiding and that makes them cowards. Someone could take your innocence and what then. His brothers don’t care about you like Bi-Han cares about you. You’re only safe in his arms and in his sight. You must never be left alone with anybody. Filthy men putting their hands on you, that thought alone makes him furious.
You were his light in a gloomy world. Even if you were friends with Lord Liu Kang he saw you as your own person. A victim to Liu Kang who probably has you wrapped around his fingers. You need to be free just like him. Not following orders like you are now. You must be so depressed without him.
In a way you are as you still struggle to accept the situation. You’re no victim however. Even though Liu Kang said you were done with your task a while ago you still continue out of the kindness of your heart. It’s the right thing to do. But you will continue and mourn what could have been.
If only he kept you in mind when Shang Tsung made that horrible offer. None of this would have happened. This shouldn’t have happened.
You’re only left with sadness. You lost someone you were willing to love and change. You were so close to warming Bi-Han’s heart. You warmed it enough that he feels regret for what he has done. But he can’t turn back now. What’s done is done. Maybe in another timeline he was never a traitor. In another timeline you two are together where he can protect you and love you for who you are.
After notes: If I have not satisfied your needs you can force me to eat British Chinese food. Or you can yell at me either one goes, you can even tell me to redo it all. A little bit of a warning I might be silent for one or two days just cause of classes. Literally have to make a 6-8 minute speech about contraceptives in the span of two days. So either it will be backpocket fics, reblogs (I have faith in the 🍊), or nothing. You’ll know when you’ll know. Adiós!

Lloyd garmadon hcs (romantic & reg hcs)
A/N: This is first post on here 😭 I’m super into ninjago right now so I might as well write abt it. And Lloyd is super pookie bear 🫶
Romantic:
-When you guys first start dating, Lloyd is a bit awkward since A. He’s never been in a legitimate relationship before and B. He has insane trauma from Harumi.
-But over time, he’ll start to warm up to you! You just gotta be patient with him.
-Loves to read comics with you, it’s such a guilty pleasure (and he’s a big nerd.)
-When he’s with you, he’s always holding your hand or resting his hand on your lower back. He’s protective in a casual way rather than a possessive way, yk?
-Very prone to venting to you.
-Every once in awhile, he takes you out in ninjago city for a date on a rooftop of a building. It’s not the best place for a date but he’s not much of a romantic. But he does try for you!
-Always takes care of you when you’re sick. He makes soup and tea for you, and sits by your side, holding your hand while talking about whatever.
-He’s such a cuddle bug!! He loves laying on your chest while you tangle your fingers in his hair. And vice versa.
-Loves to kiss you on your face, esp your cheek and your nose. Seeing your face get all blushy after he surprises you with a kiss really makes him happy.
-Feels a little self conscious around you about certain things, like his dad, his oni form, or the idea of being a master since those things bother him deeply. But a little reassurance and kind words from you will help his self esteem a ton.
-He likes it when you braid his hair or play with it in any way.
-If you’re up to it, lloyd loves training with you. He’ll go easy on you considering he doesn’t want to hurt you, but if he does he feels so bad 😭
-When you two are together, Kai will do EVERYTHING in his willpower to embarrass Lloyd for funsies.
-One time, he totally showed you a picture of when Lloyd was little and he had that atrocious bowl cut. Let’s just say Kai was locked out of the monastery for a good 3 days 😁
-Doesn’t use many nicknames but does like to use a shortened ver of your name, to keep it simple. But he doesn’t mind calling you “gorgeous” or “beautiful” once in awhile, since to him you definitely are.
-Misako and Wu would definitely love you immediately after Lloyd introduces you (more so misako), no questions asked.
-Garmadon though? It depends. If you get to know him a bit better, then he’ll probably warm up to you. He’s just a bit weary because of his trust issues.
-Kinda same with the Ninja honestly, but they’ll warm up to you super quick when they see how you treat lloyd and how happy you make him. They just want the best for him is all.
General:
-Lloyd really values his hair, like a ton. He takes super good care of it. And I really like to think after the events of crystalized, he started to actually grow his hair out.
-And by the time of dragons rising, his hair is all the way down to his lower back (he puts it in a low ponytail most of the time for combat reasons.)
-He’s both Japanese and Chinese!
-Demiromantic/sexual and omnisexual!!
-Looked up to Nya as a mother figure when he was little, and still does. He loves misako so very much, but resents her deep down.
-Has a little stubble in DR, kinda canon but whatevs.
-Has a pretty good singing voice, but only really does it in private.
-Outside of his Gi, the clothes he usually wears is just a jacket, a t-shirt and jeans 😭 he has like 15 jackets in his closet (he’s just like me fr)
-Has scars like all over his body, and some on his face from like the millions of battles he’s been in.
-He’s a little chubby, but has pretty muscular arms (🤭)
-Lloyd has like small non-human features that nod to the fact that he’s half oni and dragon.
-Like pointy ears, sharp teeth, and slitted pupils.
-Still has an adoration for candy.
-Every once in awhile, he still heads to Ninjago Doomsday Comix to buy a new issue of a comic he likes.
-He would probably enjoy music like Radiohead or some other sad stereotypical man music.
A/N: I can’t think of much else but I hope you guys enjoyed these!! I’ll write at my own pace for a little bit and then I’ll open requests. I gotta make a carrd sometime soon lmfao 😭
( @weirdotaku1000 these are the hcs I was working on!!)
#y’all have no clue how much excited I am rn 😭#I’ve had this blog for like 2 years and haven’t posted a damn thing other than the intro which was 10 MONTHS AGO#lloyd garmadon#ninjago lloyd#lloyd garmadon x reader#lego ninjago#ninjago#lego ninjago x reader#ninjago x reader

hello, i’m a new fan of yours!!
i enjoyed your works so much, i wanted to know more about your thoughts on lloyd and harumi’s relationship. how you felt watching s8-9 and crystallized when harumi came back on our screens.
overall just any thoughts and headcanons you have for them, if you’d like to share them with us
Hi! Thank you!!
I think… Llorumi is an interesting ship with so much potential!
I will always say that Harumi is one of the greatest characters the show has given us. She really took herself from being a simple love interest to something so much more. She’s a girl with hate and vengeance completely directed towards Lloyd: she hates him, is jealous of him, but I also think in a strange way… Harumi kind of grew attached to Lloyd…?
Season 8, beginning to end, was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, and they kept and carried that quality into Season 9 with an even beautifuler (is that a word???) finish! I felt really pulled into Lloyd and Harumi’s “romance”. Every scene between them, even a small interaction at the side of the screen — looking at each other or touching each other’s shoulders — I really felt that budding romance and heart fluttering feeling of attraction, and the music accompanied with their words was so engaging! Engrossing! Captivating! Wow! I loved the betrayal and the big reveal, and the absolute shatter in Lloyd’s heart, I think, was really felt because we were also fooled into this heart-throbbing relationship that was just too good to be true.
Now, what makes me trip was when Harumi asked Lloyd to join the sons of Garmadon… and that’s what makes me think she kind of grew attached to him. After all her life of researching him and planning this elaborate plan with him in the very center; I don’t think she was ready to let go of Lloyd. I think there’s feelings inside Harumi for Lloyd that’s not necessarily romantic, but like… maybe obsessive…? It’s all theory !!
THE SCENE!!! Harumi on top of the crumbling building with no where to go — she’s going to die! I think Harumi knows that she’s going to die! She’s looking around — there’s no hope — she sees Lloyd straight ahead in the distance: they lock eyes! Nothing’s said and nothing’s spoken, BUT THEY’RE TALKING!! WITH THEIR EYES!!! With just their eyes, it felt like they were having a conversation that we are not a part of! It’s private! It’s personal! We are not invited! It’s only for them to know! And it’s meaningful!!! Harumi doesn’t even say anything, she’s not screaming or crying or asking for help or forgiveness… Harumi’s just… quiet. But Lloyd says something, he says, “Rumi…” WOWOWOWOWOW MY HEART!!!!! BROKEN INTO TWO!!!! That was something…
Now, I also don’t believe Harumi had romantic feelings for Lloyd in Season 8/9, keeping true to her words that, “there’s was never anything between us,” BUT: I do believe she gained feelings for him in crystalized. I mean… yeah, the Overlord confirmed that for us, but he implied it with a “still” like she had feelings for him since season 9 and that didn’t make sense to me (unless I interpreted it wrong). Crystalized had its strong and weak moments, (and quick mention that HARUMI’S COMEBACK WAS A VERY CHILLING, JAW-DROPPING SCENE WITH HER LULLABY) my only favorite Llorumi moment was when Lloyd’s trying to escape and considers jumping, but Harumi stops him and… she looks really sincere and caring about Lloyd there and she wants him alive (so she’s already disobeying the Overlord) and even warns him that he could die if he jumps, which is !!!! And I love how Lloyd says, in rejection to her request of joining the crystal king, “If you think I'd ever do that, you don't know me at all!” There’s something about that that I really like, it’s like… telling of something about their relationship — that they like each other, but after all that they’ve been through, they don’t know much about each other because their relationship was purely attractive-based in accordance to Harumi’s plan to fool him. I like how Lloyd says that to acknowledge that they need to grow and learn more about each other! And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE: Lloyd pulling Harumi WITH him ON him INTO him — THEY’RE HUGGING! HIDING THEIR FACES IN EACH OTHER — HARUMI HIDING IN HIS CHEST AND LLOYD HOLDING HER CLOSE!! AHHH!!! Great scene!
And then, when they returned to the jungle… that tension and sincerity, I feel, kind of dies out into meaningless back and forth fighting and flirting. I was honestly expecting, upon reaching that episode, a serious discussion about to go down, but… there wasn’t. And after that episode, Harumi doesn’t get much dialogue or attention, and she gets rushly redeemed. I kind of wish Lloyd had brought Harumi with him and she’s forced to work with him and the ninjas against the Overlord, and I’m sure she’ll probably fakingly agree just to screw them over because her loyalties lie with the Overlord, but if she’s in the middle of the mess she helped cause and see the families being torn apart AGAIN and being stuck with Lloyd more closely; I’m sure it would’ve been beautiful to see her guilt and confused feelings, and that could’ve been a more fleshed out redemption before she finally does switch sides and turn her loyalties over to Lloyd completely.
Anyways, I think it’s really great and mature for them to show us a relationship where they both feel hurt by the other but they still love each other… because that’s how relationships can be in real life! It’s not perfect — it’s messy! There’s arguments! We say things in a burst and we hurt other people’s feelings sometimes and we make mistakes and we miscommunicate a lot. Relationships are a struggle and I like how Llorumi can demonstrate that struggle. Not everbody has a relationship like Jay and Nya or Pixal and Zane, so I think it’s great for a cartoon to show us how to heal and grow in a relationship like Llorumi, to learn how to be a good boyfriend and (if Harumi is developed as a character) to be a good girlfriend, to communicate and be gentle after being so harsh, and I think through Llorumi, there’s a lot of potential!
These are just my thoughts and opinions. It is not my intention at all to start an argument or say my opinions are true over others.
I don’t have any headcanons for them, but thank you for this ask and wanting to know my thoughts!

Would you go into detail about any ideas you have with Scorpion!Kuai Laing and how it could have been handled better
Sure, the best way to handle it would be to let Hanzo Hasashi be the Scorpion and Kuai Liang the cryomancer as they were destined to be because at this point it seems the game didn’t just switched the ice for fire power of his but are robbing both Hanzo and Kuai Liang at the same time: Hanzo, because he was stripped again from his family (and I’m saying it fully wishing to see Harumi as her own character in future games) and sidelined for obscure reference in certain endings and intro dialogues (if lucky, maybe he will introduced in next game) while Kuai Liang is turned into someone he was not - and yes, I always saw him as aro-ace character who himself said to not have time for socializing and was a single for three decades and doing fine with his life but now is thrown into marriage with Harumi who was originally Hanzo’s wife and all the romantic nonsense he did not bothered, seek or care much before. But more than that, Kuai Liang’s previous character development was thrown out of the window and he as the MK!1 Scorpion right away ended as the “final product”, the good, honorable Grandmaster. In past the road to that point demanded from him to face a lot hard truth about Lin Kuei, to deal with his guilt, trauma and grief after losing brother and Smoke, making hard choices like choosing peace with murdered of his brother for benefit of Lin Kuei, Shirai Ryu and Earthrealm instead of seeking revenge. Kuai Liang was a good man in general, no doubt about that, but the wise, honorable sage and loyal Earthrealm Defender came with time, here Scorpion is just, well, he is, not really Hanzo and not really Kuai Liang, something between. He is angry, but does not have the burning anger of Hanzo Hasashi that blinds him to the point other characters (Quan Chi and Kronika) easily manipulate and exploit him. He cares for Bi-Han, but doesn’t seem to have Kuai Liang’s dedication to save/redeem him, like previous versions had for the Noob Saibot, corrupted by dark magic Bi-Han’s soul. Of course, Mortal Kombat 1 is just a new way into the rebooted timeline and only time shows us in what direction the NRS plan to take Scorpion - or Bi-Han and Hanzo for that matter.
But since the game did what it did, my main idea (complain) what could be done better is an actual effort to build the sense of brotherhood between the brothers before the events separated them for good. I don’t mind that Bi-Han was abrasive toward most characters as he quite often was portrayed like that and so were other cryomancers at times. But his betrayal - and Scorpion’s reaction - would have bigger impact if the sibling bond was more flashed out before the tragedy happened (though I would argue with the spreading idea between fans that Bi-Han always acted like the worst jerk toward poor baby Tomas, as what story showed us is the “frustrated Bi-Han” and he snipped at both brothers whenever they mentioned father, while still included Tomas in either taking Smoke to meet Liu Kang and on mission or in his worries [“Are you both unharmed?”], and did not correct Liu Kang in their intro dialogue when Fire Gods specifically said “your brothers” miss him. The conflict and disdain seems to be aimed mainly at Lin Kuei status and/or bloodline however I don’t think we have yet enough idea how Lin Kuei now operate and how they managed switch some much from everyone worth is welcome in previous Lin Kuei to apparently just bloodline matters). Of course, I’m aware the brotherhood would be a hard thing to flesh out with such limited screen time as the story was divided between a quite big cast, however as Johnny and Kenshi proved, the game could and did create the feeling of true comradeship between characters who too were sidelined in later chapters. So I think the best solution would be either leave Bi-Han’s betrayal for the latest part of the story or, alternatively, let Bi-Han’s die, maybe even to make sure his brothers get away, and then bring him as Noob Saibot, giving us both the evil Sub-Zero the game aimed for and Kuai Liang’s more classical grief over killed family and the conflict with corrupted, undead version of Bi-Han. What I think would work nicely through the future games without making still alive Bi-Han a weird mix of Noob and Frost and would not hurt so much compared to what Mileena, Baraka and Reptile got in contrast to Lin Kuei brothers.
Thinking more about it, the game could actually use Kuai Liang’s father in more direct way, as part of Lin Kuei team on mission so Bi-Han, if truly needed to end as betrayer, could let him die during an actual story mode with the future games/lore focusing on Kuai Liang (Scorpion)’s burning anger and desire for justice/revenge - but I’m aware that would be even more complicated to fit into limited story time.
The other thing I think would be much truer to Kuai Liang’s original character is him to fight for control over Lin Kuei to actually uphold traditions he was so devoted to than creating a different clan. Scorpion’s decision of course makes sense within the story but Kuai Liang’s loyalty was always to Lin Kuei first and foremost and if younger Sub-Zero in previous timeline(s) needed to destroy it to reform the clan for more honorable ways, he would do so. Kuai Liang mentioned Cyrax and Sektor’s loyalty to Bi-Han is absolute, but thinking logically, he could have a more blood-related family interested in the fate of their relative that could support his claim to title. In result, Bi-Han could be on the run, maybe with the hard-die followers making Scorpion’s intro dialogues about seeking /hunting brother accurate too.
In general, I won’t say that MK1!Scorpion is a bad or boring character, because he isn’t, but what he could use - the same as the rest Lin Kuei - is a better flashed out relationship that would give him a chance to grow alongside the story. The game keeps mentioning he and Bi-Han are brothers, but we barely see any of that close bond (Scorpion and Smoke understandably look better in that matter as they were meant to contrast the relationship with much colder and ambitious Bi-Han, but Smoke is pretty much pushed to sidelines for majority of game, the same as Sub-Zero). The intro dialogues and character endings imply romantic relationship (future marriage) but again, we are told about that and not really shown or allowed to see how it develops - and yes, I’m irked about this romantic addition that pushes Kuai Liang into Hanzo’s original role (and why push Harumi straight into marriage either? Why not introduce her and allow her to grow into her own person before marrying her off?). Which I think is part of the problem, as Mortal Kombat games don't dwell much into “daily” life of characters as we usually jump from one crisis to another fight and probably TV series or well written comics would do better justice for that sort of thing.
Don’t know if my ideas would handle better MK!1 Scorpion, beside maybe letting Hanzo have this mantle. I do however think it would be pretty cool if Kuai Liang got some character flaws to overcome, the same as Bi-Han got his arrogance and ambitions. Like I said, this Kuai Liang is not a bad character but he is the designated “good brother” and the perfect fighter, grandmaster, follower of Liu Kang and some flaws to balance his otherwise ideal portrayal would do some good. Hanzo had his serious anger and trust issues, Kuai Liang’s rocky relationship with authority and yes, some of those traits are implied here and there with MK1!Scorpion but so far does not play any vital role (the way he was ready to smack already laying on ground Bi-Han again with his shackles is so far the most visible anger fit he showed, but that is a pale imitation to what Hanzo Hasashi was capable of. Similarly his concern/doubts about Liu Kang stated in intro dialogues are not even close to Kuai Liang’s accusation and questioning of Raiden or other gods’ authority).
#mortal kombat#my replies#kuai liang#scorpion#bi han#sub zero#to be honest both brothers could be handle better if story mode allowed us to see their brotherhood at the best before the worst happened#also the coward should give scorpion!kuai liang some flaws to balance the general good nature

Things in Ninjago that I think about a little too frequently
In no particular order
- Morro’s gay ass violin theme
- Every time Kai’s like “who would like/want/care that much about JAY” and Nya’s like “HELLO????”
- Every single Bruiseshipping moment in Skybound there are so many
- in Prime Empire when Wu completely falls for a cardboard cutout of Zane in the elevator. I don’t think y’all understand when I watched that the first time I had to pause the episode because I was crying laughing. Why did he fall for that. Wu. Wu please.
- Kai being corrupted by Chen’s staff why wasn’t that part longer please Ninjago pleASE-
- Ninjago Confidential
- actually just all of Prime Empire tbh (im the CEO of Superstar Rockin’ Jay that season’s been imprinted in my brain for all time)
- Child Lloyd watching his father leave, knowing that they next they meet, he’ll have to fight him as it is now his destiny. Hard cut to the rest of the ninja throwing a fucking party
- “I was never meant to be the Green Ninja… I was meant to PROTECT him.”
- when Jay goes apeshit after Klamaar “destroys” Nya and he grabs Wu’s staff and just loses it
- all of season 11 episode 4 just all of it it’s so funny
- Ice Emperor content
- Cole: about to go to bed Lloyd: APPEARS OMINOUSLY Hello, Cole.
- “THERE’S MORE TO LIFE THAN JUST SURVIVING!”
- Cole’s fall and everyone’s subsequent reactions from March of the Oni. MotO overall sucks but no matter how many times I watch that part even knowing he’ll be fine I get so emotional
- Lloyd breaking through Morro’s possession to give Kai the sword
- COLE ACTIVATING THE SPINJITSU BURST THAT MOMENT GOES SO HARD, IT’S WHY MY SIDE BLOG IS SPINJITSUBURST I LOVE IT
- “I’m not strong enough!” “Then we’ll be stronger together!” And Nya and Jay form a COMBINED ELEMENTAL DRAGON IT’S SO COOL
- Jay: lying on the floor in Nadakhan’s quarters, barely able to talk, beaten and his eye so damaged he’s wearing an eyepatch. Cole’s reaction to seeing him him this state: JAY YOU’RE OKAY
- the entire Sweatin’ to the Goldie’s short
- Jay being so genuinely upset and distraught about being unable to help the people stuck in ice in the Neverrealm
- Echo Zane
- Echo Zane!
- did I mention Echo Zane
- “Look, we caught the chicken!” “Yeah, it’s in the box” someone help them
- “Zane, can I ask you something.” “You have half my heart. You can ask me anything.”
- Every Pixane moment lives in my brain actually
- that part in Skybound when Jay falls from the sky and is upset he doesn’t know how to save Nya and his friends and his dad is like “THE WORLD’S FALLIN’ APART AND HE’S EATIN’ SOUP!”
- “Kai, babeyyy~”
- that episode of Crystalized where it opens to Harumi monologuing her life story and then it’s revealed she’s been talking. To Lloyd. The whole time. Harumi he knew half that shit already why did you tell him all that again

Protection Ward
Chapter 3 of Serpents and Shadows! <<Previous Chapter Summary: In the aftermath of Garmadon's reunion with his son, he takes some time to think about all the things that went wrong. And Misako provides an important perspective. Alright, you've seen Wu angst and Lloyd angst. Now it's time for a special sort of Garmadon angst! Enjoy.
Garmadon’s family has a penchant for pain. Whether it be causing it or grieving with it, pain is always present in their lives. That’s the most succinct way he can explain it.
He knows, of course, that most of it is unintentional. That no one in his family actually enjoys suffering. A family as vibrant and joyful as his prefers sunshine and pleasant rain before ancient, evil death clouds or towering colossi any day. But regardless of intent, pain always finds them. And that’s enough to make the festering knot of guilt tighten in his gut.
“You wouldn’t hurt me. Your son.”
“I have no son.”
Garmadon curses aloud. Deities, why had he said that? Why had he hurt Lloyd like that? Lloyd, the one person he had sworn never to harm no matter the consequence. His son, the one person he would have traded his own life and love to protect. His son, battered and bruised and scraping at the desert sand, barely clinging to life, and all at the hands of his own father-
The soft green fabric of Lloyd’s jacket wrinkles in Garmadon’s crushing grip. A feeling like glass stabs into his chest.
Turns out Harumi had been right about one thing, Garmadon thinks, scowling. That sharp pang surges, pinning his heart against his ribcage. Even after all these years, his son is still his greatest weakness. How fitting that bringing Lloyd harm has become his downfall. How fitting, that the person he cared for most, now hates him, and rightfully so. Their relationship was still made of broken promises, even to the bitter end.
“The cherry blossoms are beautiful this year.”
The sliding door closes against the frame with a faint thump. Misako, as straight-laced and confident as Garmadon remembers her, settles her arms down on the railing next to him with ease. He can never escape her, even on the sun-soaked balcony that he’s banished himself to.
“What do you want, Misako?” He asks.
He feels the frown she angles at him more than sees it but it’s an expression he’s committed to memory. Years of their relationship flash before his eyes—the days-long romps through archeological sites, the sturdy, mural-adorned walls of their home, her upbeat, cocky laughter morphing into startled demeanors and despairing grimaces. Looks of fear backed into a corner and explosive anger wrought by the Devourer’s venom.
Most of their interactions turn out like this because of it. Quiet and awkward, the way only decades of discomfort and weeks of high-stakes resistance can make people like them. After a while, Misako lets out a sigh.
“Lloyd’s calmed down,” she says. “And he’s okay.”
She must see how Garmadon tenses at the news because her gaze softens and her fingers intertwine with his. One way or another, he resists the urge to yank his hand away. Maybe she deems it progress, or maybe she’s feeling sentimental, either way she decides to stay with him for a little longer and he’s all the more terrified because of it.
“Listen, Garmadon,” she starts with a voice that’s softer than her usual low, deep tone. “You can’t keep hiding out here-”
“I’m not hiding,” Garmadon bites out. And it’s true, for the most part. He’s not hiding, he just… he can’t be in the monastery right now. He can’t be around Lloyd after being the source of so much sorrow. After everything Lloyd has been through—sacrifice, loss, steel-bolted walls shrieking against pressure and pain—the least Garmadon owes him is the space to process it all.
Especially, after what he just witnessed.
Garmadon kept his composure the same as always. Even deep in meditation or within the confines of his own mind, he stayed his earthly desires and let his keen intuition speak above his conscious thoughts. The rawest of his sentiments, of course, all said the same thing: that he needed to visit Lloyd. He needed to make things right.
He had been debating the merits of doing exactly that—or throwing himself over the side—when the world picked that critical moment to make everything go wrong. It started with a flash of blond disappearing from the corner of his eye. Shortly after, the unmistakable sounds of glass shattering and his son sobbing reached his ears.
Then the first waves of panic shuddered through the monastery, rattling it down to its initial, ancient foundations.
All too unfortunately, Garmadon knew that rattling. He knew what it meant and who the source was. His most primal, automatic paternal instincts ripped through his self-pity like it was fine linen. He didn’t think. His feet moved on their own, throwing him through the doors of the monastery to present to him: Lloyd, going all to pieces in the middle of the kitchen.
‘He saw,’ a traitorous hiss shrilled in his ears. “He saw you. He fears you.”
His son’s name shredded his throat.
“Lloyd!”
But before he could take even a step, Kai’s smoldering, molten gold eyes found him, a threat written clearly in them.
“No!” Kai’s nearly primordial roar nailed Garmadon in place. “You get out of here!”
Faintly, from within the kitchen, Wu’s voice rose above the chaos—it rose above the shaking ground, the breaking understructure, the upheaval of panicked screaming and guttering lights caused by the true intensity of Lloyd’s powers.
“Kai! That’s not helping.”
“He’s not helping.” Kai jerked his head in Garmadon’s general direction.
By the grace of Ninjago’s most powerful deities, some of the quaking began to fizzle down. Lloyd’s mouth began to move into a soundless bunch of muttering. Kai’s attention wrenched around to face the problem. His hands went to cup Lloyd’s face and his wrists were immediately met by Lloyd clinging to them as if they were his very lifelines. And Kai, of course, responded to him by instructing Lloyd on what to do. Vital life force breathing—four, seven, eight.
Garmadon remembered, with a guilty, wretched ache, the way that Lloyd used to do that to him whenever he needed comforting. He remembered how he taught Lloyd that technique and was met with subsequent cynicism. Cynicism that became belief that became coaching Lloyd through dangerous nights on the run from the Golden Master.
It became their connection and the thing Garmadon’s mind went to whenever he thought of his son’s safety. And now it had become the thing Lloyd needed to protect himself from his own father.
“That is it!” Nya hollered with her entire inundating soul. “Everybody, stay here, and remain calm. Do not do anything stupid.” She leveled a freezing, stormy glare at Garmadon. “Especially you.”
By that point, she had taken Kai and Lloyd by their most accessible extremities and dragged them into the hallway, the former rubbing circles into the latter’s back. The shoji slammed shut against the frame.
Soon enough, the shaking ceased, the lights shined steady, all fell into strained silence. All Garmadon could hear was his ears ringing.
And that marked the end of Garmadon’s first reunion with Lloyd.
“Regardless,” Misako says once the silence has passed. “It won’t do you any good to stay out here. You’re not the only one who’s made mistakes.” She goes distant with that statement, her gaze catching on the misty mountainside below as if remembering something from a long time ago.
Garmadon can’t help but turn toward her after she speaks, almost startled she’d ever admit to doing something wrong. Her meticulous nature and pride never allowed for it in the past, even when conversing about things meaningless to her work or family. But he supposes that time really does wear all things down, even the stone-like Misako. She huffs out a breath and meets his gaze head-on—dark brown finding faded maroon. Her hand offers his hand a consoling squeeze.
“There’s a lot I regret, especially when it comes to Lloyd,” she resumes and when Garmadon looks at her again, he swears he sees fine lines and wrinkles he hadn’t seen before. “But I didn’t get anywhere by not being present. For our relationship to get better, I had to actually be there. I had to try. And so do you.”
As if that matters. As if any of that matters.
Despite the all too welcoming—far too welcoming, naive—support of the people around him, Garmadon knows that there’s no coming back from the things he’s done.
Lloyd’s ability to love and forgive is plentiful. But he’d be a fool to extend such compassion to Garmadon. Especially if he doesn’t want to get hurt again. Senseless violence has no place in a monastery of peace. Or in Lloyd’s life.
“Does it even matter anymore?” Garmadon whispers.
He’s predictably startled when Misako’s grip tightens like a steel valve and her eyes darken to that of stormy anger.
“Yes, it matters,” she says, her voice hard and incontestable. “It matters because you matter.” Her gaze is hard and unyielding while her other hand suddenly comes up to meet him in the space between them, coasting along the fabric of Lloyd’s jacket. “You need to remember. Remember what we made together, how special he is to us, and all the things we gave to keep him safe, even if it was futile in the end.”
Misako takes a deep breath and before Garmadon knows it, her irritation begins to melt away, dripping into that former exhaustion he’s slowly coming to associate with her. She leans in enough for her bangs to tickle the spot between his brows and a quivering butterfly flaps its wings in Garmadon’s stomach. Deity, it’s been so long since they’ve last been that close.
His wife’s next words come in a muted whisper.
“We need you to remember how special you are to me and Lloyd.”
Garmadon’s mouth drops open as it tries to find another cause for him to stay away, another safeguard to protect his family from a monster like him. But it ultimately closes back into a scowl. Normally, he might be able to dredge up a reason why she’s wrong, even just one, but she hasn’t given him any leeway to do so this time. She has him in a chokehold. Damnable woman.
Misako must be able to see the aura of defeat she’s managed to cast over him. Though she’s not smug when she speaks, there is a pleasing lilt in her tone to indicate that the conversation is over, whether either of them wants it to be or not. At least for now, as Garmadon suspects that if he pushes it then it’ll devolve into a screaming match, which is the last thing anyone (see: Lloyd) needs.
“You know,” she says softly, standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek. “I’m still waiting for you to have something sweet to say.”
She flashes him a smile and with that, pivots on her heel and slips back into the monastery. Though the door is quick to close behind her, it can’t muffle the lingering tidbits of a chitchat and muted laughter that float around his wife and his brother.
“Your turn, Wu!”
“Is he still moping?”
“Unfortunately.”
Garmadon lets out an agonized groan and drops his head down into his hands.

Season FUCKING 8 of Ninjago
So I have been emotionally demolished (big surprise there) because my favorite character, and please don’t behead me for this, was Garmadon. I’ve never really mentioned it before because I saw no need to, but gods.... I’m in physical pain.
Why is Garmadon my favorite character? (I swear this section matters)
Because I love the way the show handled his character, I love how even when he was evil even when he was infected with the Great Devourer's venom, he was clearly trying to be good, he played more of the role of an anti hero than a true utter villain in my personal opinion (the crew also said that was kinda the intention in the beginning so I’m not to far off base). He clearly cared about his son and his wife, with Lloyd seemingly knowing who his father was before he had even gotten the chance to meet his mother (I promise I will talk about Misako in this rant cause she does play into it) and Garmadon is shown doing pretty much nothing other than telling his son “I love you, you matter and please don’t be like me” in season one through till then end of season four and even in their short meeting in season five.
Also it feels like the characters conveniently forget the fact that: isn’t the whole reason he’s evil because he was bit by the Great Devourer? The best comparison I can think of is blaming someone who was bit by a werewolf for becoming a werewolf, again not sure how else to put it. Also he’s shown doing a whole shit ton of good stuff before the evil like fully took over, like he fought multiple wars on the good side.
But then after he’s like de-evil-fied he immediately becomes this really kind chill person (hm it’s almost like he was a fundamentally good person who got dealt a really bad hand) even swearing off fighting, only breaking that vow because his son is in danger. In fact after he’s turned not evil (idk man) he’s a really valuable member of the team who’s honestly a lot less reckless when it come to the ninja’s well beings, like seriously who left Wu in charge of these people, and even snapped at Wu when they got BLASTED OFF INTO SPACE. His redemption is rather slow with most of the ninja taking most of season two to truly warm up to him, even after they’re still clearly weary of him, which I freaking love btw.
Finally after multiple seasons of proving he is a better person, admitting past lies (such as the letter to Misako, which honestly if a letter was all it took to sway her one way or another I’m not really sure how loyal she truly is, but I digress), mending bonds and just generally doing things to prove himself a good person, then the ending of season four hits and he sacrifices himself in a final act selflessness to save everyone. And I’m sorry but the line “I had wanted to make the world in my image, but I realize I already have, in you.” To Lloyd as his last goodbye was just heart wrenching. His last goodbye was an act of selfless good and even after we see him in season five he’s not concerned about escaping he is concerned about his sons wellbeing.
Why Harumi bringing him back makes me so upset.
So yeah that’s why I love Garmadon but why does it matter? Well because he died a good person. He died with people remembering his sacrifice as something good. Then Harumi brought him back, but not the Garmadon who loved his son more than anything, not the Garmadon who went through seasons of mending bonds, no she brought back the part of him entirely consumed with evil and hate, and it makes me so FUICKING mad!
Imagen you go through years of healing and change so you’ll be remembered not only for the evil you did but the good person you died as, only for someone to bring back the evil part of you to crush the image people had of you and wrecking the bonds you’d made leaving your memory utterly demolished and your family bond broken because some random girl decided she cared more about her own revenge and anger than the peace and good ending you had worked so hard to achieve.
Also the effect it’s going to have on Lloyd (Note I have not yet watched season 9 so take this as what I think would be the emotions he’d be feeling). His last true memories with his father were with the Garmadon who redeemed himself, it’s the person Lloyd considers to be his real father/the real Garmadon only for Harumi to bring back the man who Lloyd knows isn’t really his father only a hollow shell with his voice and snippets of memories. I can’t even imagine one how gut wrenchingly terrible it would feel to lose your parent only for someone to bring back what’s essentially an evil clone to destroy all the good that they had previously done.
Enough about Garmadon lets talk about season 8 (This section is far lighter)
This season was awesome! I loved most of the changes to the character designs and voices (apparently some people didn’t like the changes but honestly my only complaint has so be Kai’s hair color being kinda weird) it just felt like everyone’s voice actors were going so much harder this season, especially Zane, Cole and Nya’s like Nya’s voice and (let’s be honest) pretty bad hair cut was holding her back and since that all changed she’s honestly just so much cooler now! Also Zane switching from more human esq while in front of people while being robotic around his friends was just a fun rather personal touch, like it just felt like such a neat character quirk, like I just love to think of Zane not wanting to scare like younger children and stuff like that so he wears the more human appearance.
I loved all the reveals of small character quirks, especially with Cole, like him apparently not liking public singing (do I smell possibilities for fanfiction) and being really good with kids, like that’s just so adorable. Also all of Cole and Zane’s little side quest was just more shipping fuel for me lol. I loved the Pixel reveal and it just feels so fitting for her to be samurai X like just way to fun!
Was the season perfect: no, but was it really freaking fun and enjoyable and depressing, yes yes it was! In conclusion this Lego show should not have this much of a hold over my emotions tbh, but I’m not gonna stop watch so ya know!

Alright, if we're confessing, I have a few things to say.
As much as I like Morro as a character, I do not want to see him come back outside of a small cameo ever. Fan works are great, but I do not want him to be around in canon again. Mostly because I'm afraid we'll have a situation similar to Harumi in Crystalized. I was so hyped for her to return, and the story they told with her in that season is not one I'm fond of.
I find season 7 to be fine. This may be due to the fact that I watched it in Spanish, not English, so any off-sounding dialogue was not as apparent to me. The middle really drags (the snake villains are far to repetitive), but I liked Acronix and Krux as villains. Also, that season gave us Dareth and Ronin interacting, which was a fantastic choice. And Wu having a crisis where he realizes that not asking for help has endangered and isolated himself from the others was neat (even if it wasn't the best executed).
I don't think this is a hot take, but I hate the Overlord so much. He's so boring. I hope he never shows up again. Get him out of here. Why has he come back three times?
I also would prefer to watch season 3 over season 2. Rebooted is not a good season, but it is delightfully entertaining. What is happening at any point? How was that only eight episodes? I find season two to be a bit boring and anticlimactic, so I tend to skip it during rewatches.
Finally, I do not like Hunted as much as other people do. I still think it's a good season, but the time in the First Realm could have been shortened. It got to the point where I dreaded when the screen time would shift over to the realm because I didn't care as much as I cared about the rebellion plotline.
WOW that’s a lot. Let me break this up nicely.
1. Yeah, that’s real. I feel like when they try and bring back characters previously established as dead, it feels cheap and it’s never well done. I’m on the Morro stays dead team.
2. I can’t say much about this one, season 7 was extremely boring to me. Sorry.
3. He suffers from Cant Stay Dead disease. It was interesting the first time, but the next two times he came back….refer to first point.
4. I love season three. They just did shit. Silly.
5. YEAH. THE PRT ABKUT DREADING THE FIRST REALM POV?? YEAH. I cared soooo much more about what was happening in the rebellion, I could not for the life of me focus on the first realm plot. Whyyyy was it so boring.
All in all, you can come in.

Yeah, you can talk about success and business all you want, but there’s something else you need to understand, Sato Emina.
Stop calling me that!
No, I’m gonna keep calling you that because that’s who you are. Marrying into the Nijiue Family doesn’t change jack shit about you or what you’ve done.
I’m not even mad that you took my spot. It’s shitty, but that’s not the problem. The problem is what happened because of that: the damage you did to the police department.
Do you have ANY idea what you’ve done? The Metropolitan Police is outdated and stagnant in their way of doing things. They couldn’t solve cases, murderers went unopposed, serial killers-
Y-You can’t seriously blame all that on me!
Why not? Weren’t you proud of yourself for the way you outsmarted me? I’m not trying to sound proud, but the police relied on me back then. I was happy to help however I could, and I solved plenty of cases for them not because I wanted fame or money, but because it was the right thing to do.
And you took all that away. Because of you, who knows how many criminals are still free and how many people have died!
...As if you could’ve done anything.
What did you just say to me?
You think so highly of yourself...you think that someone like you is even worthy of calling yourself an ally of the police? Are you aware of how corrupt they are?! How many innocent people get put away because of them?!
Exactly the kinds of things I wanted to fix.
What can you possibly fix? You’re a miserable piece of garbage.
It...It’s not fair. Someone like you? Getting praised for things like this, this science jargon or whatever?! You’re not someone of prominence! You’re a nobody!
I had to claw my way to the top, to even have a chance to become Ayato’s fiance! I EARNED everything I have! Who CARES if it involved theft?! They didn’t deserve it if they couldn’t keep it!
You...you’re just some repulsive delinquent trash! That’s all you are, that’s all you’ll ever be! You have no talent, no skill, no value to anyone! You’re a horrendous, violent piece of shit!
You’re nothing! DO YOU HEAR ME?! NOTHING!
You’re asking for it now, yo-
*SLAP!*
...
Huh?
Don’t...EVER...talk about my mom like that again.
My mother is one of the smartest, kindest people I’ve ever met! You had to steal everything, just so you could feel good about yourself, but she’s done more than enough to earn the right to be called an Ultimate if she wants to!
...And I wish I understood that sooner. Because I haven’t been great to her in the past either.
And you...remind me of someone else I’m very close to. A mindset he used to have, and how much he really hates it. If this is your idea of success, I don’t blame him.
And if you really think the world is an awful place where people backstab each other...then don’t be like that. Be different. Try to make things better.
That’s my philosophy. And a big part of that is understanding where you messed up and trying to do better.
My mom is 10 times the person you’ll ever be. No amount of screaming and crying and blaming her will ever change that!
*Harumi places a hand on Chiaki’s shoulder*
You about done, Emina-chan?
...No. This isn’t over. You have nothing concrete against me!
Oh, you stupid, stupid woman. We have more than enough.
I’ll sue you...I’ll sue you all for defamation...
Oh, will this be your defense?
*Harumi presses into her coat pocket*
Emina’s voice: So what if I made a deal? I was merely doing what was necessary to get ahead in this miserable dog-eat-dog world of ours. You’re singling me out only because I took your spot, but what’ve you done for all the others who were doing the exact same thing?
What?! B-But that’s-
Our meeting last night...you recorded me...
Yeah, that’s what I like best about you, Emina-chan. You remind me of a lot of criminals I’ve interviewed before...
You’re so predictable.

Hello Hello Hello! I am already drowning in this au. I love underused characters getting so much spotlight. AND MORRO AND ECHO SJDHISBDNF a rare pair that will live in my heart forever.
But anyway onto the question-
1. I’m super interested in Pixls role in this au. Is she working with Wu’s ninjas? Maybe an internal conscience in Zane? Or is she just chilling with borg this time around?
2. Another thing I’m curious about is the evil ninjas! How did they end up with Wu? How did they get the golden weapons? Are their backstories still the same? And how did they end up here, harming innocent people and going down the path of darkness?
3. Last question I swear! How do our main ninjas powers work? Like we know a base idea of Morro’s and Skylor’s powers. But how do the others work? To what extent is Vania the master of “stone”. And I’m especially interested in Harumi’s jade powers!!!
Ok I shut up now this au is just rly good
IM GENUINELY SO HAPPY PEOPLE ARE ENJOYING THIS SKLDNKSF,,, all these characterss live in my heart and im so happy other people enjoy them too,, citrus shipping beloved
anyways i can answer these boringly with just text so bear with me--
it is insinuated in the first chapter of the fic of this au BUT borg industries has been bankrupt and out of service for quite a while now in ninjago city, and as such cyrus went underground to work on his robotics without restriction. in his loneliness, he made P.I.X.A.L., and when the overlord took over ninjago she sided with wu's ninja, as lord wu had been an investor and supporter of her father. she chills with borg for a bit but eventually gets to enact chaos and villainy of her own!
their backstories are MOSTLY the same; kai and nya's parents disappear, zane was built by dr julien, cole lost his mother, BUT jay found out about his parentage much earlier and chose to pursue wu's teachings. they just have different reactions to their backstories! cole got angry at his father's lack of a reaction to his mother's death and chose to run away; zane became angry upon learning his father intended to steal his memories away upon the man's death and tipped off the skeletons, leaving his father at their mercy; wu visited kai and nya's shop, and knowing their parents he told them about their heritage and offered them a place among his ranks. tldr? they were children capable of more selfish, violent reactions to their traumas and i think that should be explored.
oh boy here we go (: here's the basics of how OUR good ninja's powers' work. in a future chapter their philosophies/mentalities about their powers will be revealed but here's the basics!
TOX
her body is essentially infused with her element, as her bodily fluids are varying levels of venomous. she utilizes this with her FUKIYA, aka her blowgun. she can also summon larger quantities of poison, like nya can summon water, but because she fights mostly in highly populated areas (and she doesn't want to KILL her opponents) she tends to stray away from doing so.
ECHO
they can turn anything they touch into rust, no matter the material. this includes organic things, such as plants, animals, and humans :). they can also manipulate this rust to a certain extent, but they mostly deteriorate things and let their weapon do the rest. this rust gets in their mechanics and inner gears, and if they're not careful they can outright rust their own (important) parts. they require frequent constant Maintenace and upkeep to stay running, but skylor is up to the task!
not a part of their elemental powerset, but similar to zane's future sight, echo has something called Empathy. it allows them to see other people and their intentions, gaining a deep understanding of them. they haven't quite realized this yet, though.
VANIA
like cole with earth, vania requires her element (stone) to manipulate it. she can manipulate all stones in ninjago, including vengestone as long as she is not in direct contact with it. her powers also gift her superstrength (like cole).
BENTHOMAAR
kind of like jay, he can summon lightning, BUT he cannot control it. he can summon storm clouds, thunder, rain, hail, sleet, and other forms of storm. his control is over the entirety of the storm, not its individual parts. he also has super strength but that's because he's a big fish man, not because of his element. sometimes, he'll summon small, harmless storm clouds to entertain fans! it's very wholesome.
HARUMI
jade. the element of harmony and balance. harumi's powers include: healing (both physically and emotionally), luck (both bad and good), and Transformation. her physical and ninja feats are her own-- while her teammates have physical manifestations of their elements to utilize, harumi's powerset is that of a healer, a support. because that's what jade is-- if green is energy, jade is its equal but opposite. tranquility, serenity, passivity. she has no oni or dragon blood, nor powerful blasts of energy to aim at her enemies, but she has something arguably more important-- the ability to heal.

Harumi part 2
AND ANOTHER THING ABOUT HARUMI AND LLOYD SPECIFICALLY:
In my last post I talked about how Harumi and Lloyd look very similar when it comes to their inner motivations and emotions, but they chose to respond to those things in different ways. They also have similar traumas (thought Lloyd albeit has been through much, much more). Both of them have this desperate need to be loved, to be important, and both grew up feeling trapped by their respective roles - Lloyd to the point that he made it an essential part of the way he views himself, while Harumi learned to despise it and use it for ulterior motives.
Harumi was orphaned at a young age and adopted into a family and a title she didn’t ask for, probably not long after the initial traumatic incident. Just orphaned, suddenly a princess with expectations and duties in a brand new family who maybe didn’t care very deeply for her (we don’t know this for sure, but it was implied, and it’s very possible that the royal family only adopted her because they needed to continue their line, or because they wanted to look good and like they were doing something after the whole Great Devourer situation). I’m not blaming the emperor and empress for any of Harumi’s choices, she made her own choices, but they definitely played into some of her trauma growing up in the palace. We know she felt trapped as a princess, which caused her to stay silent, to stuff her real feelings, and let them fester.
Contrast this with Lloyd, who was essentially orphaned too and adopted into a family where, without warning, he had a role thrust upon him and his childhood ripped out from beneath him - plus a lot of other things. The key difference between these stories is that Lloyd was “adopted” into a strong support system who actually loved him and he felt like he could trust them, whereas Harumi felt like she had no one. But Lloyd is really good at stuffing his real emotions too, and while he’s more free than Harumi was, there are some things he feels like he can’t share.
Cut to the moment these two finally meet, and Harumi starts manipulating him. To be that good of an actor, you have to let genuine moments shine through, otherwise the act won’t be believable. I do think Harumi shared some of her true feelings with Lloyd, and I think he recognized himself in them, which is why he was so drawn to her in the first place. And Harumi probably recognized herself in Lloyd. I would love to have been a fly on the wall when Harumi, through all her study of the Garmadon family and Oni and the Green Ninja, realized that she could get to Lloyd, because this person who had indirectly released the Great Devourer and who she hated so much was actually so much like her.
And - bear with me here, this is just a personal headcanon - when they did finally meet, I figure every interaction Harumi had with Lloyd only made her hatred for him grow - I don’t think she fully understood why until later, maybe not even until Crystalized. But Lloyd is living proof that someone can live through what Harumi went through and still come out a good person. Initially she only hated Lloyd for what he did as a kid, but as time went on I think she came to hate him for who he was, and that no matter what she kept throwing at him, he still resisted. And Harumi doesn’t strike me as the self-loathing type when we first meet her, but as she spends more time with Lloyd and especially after the whole saving-a-family situation at the end of Hunted and going evil again after that, I definitely think there’s a sense of self-loathing that she’s developed throughout her arc, and that only feeds the fire of her already-convoluted state of mind (which I desperately hope we get to see in the second half of Crystalized).
Lloyd for his part understands Harumi, because even though Lloyd doesn’t respond to his emotions the same way Harumi does, he absolutely understands what she’s going through. She tells him she wants him to feel the emptiness that she feels, but I think he already feels it. He knows what it’s like to hurt that badly, to lose your family and to need that love and to be important to someone. That’s probably part of the reason why Harumi haunts him for so long after her “death”, not just because of her betrayal and everything she put him through, but because he sees himself in her. He wasn’t able to help her or save her because she wouldn’t allow herself to be helped, and that probably scares him to death.
When it comes down to it, Sons of Garmadon isn’t about Lloyd versus Garmadon, even though there’s so much happening there and so many emotions, but really it’s Lloyd versus Harumi, and both of them versus themselves and what they see of themselves in each other - for Harumi, that it’s possible to stay good under the weight of all that trauma, and for Lloyd that it’s possible for him to break and turn evil.
And now we’re going into the second half of Crystalized, and these two are at it again.
#i just did a s8 and s9 rewatch so bear with me#please never let these two be romantically involved again#the sheer level of mental instability and issues between the two of them is a recipe for disaster#i still can't decide if I want her to have a redemption arc#princess harumi#lloyd garmadon#sons of garmadon#ninjago#ninjago crystalized

HIHIHI IM BACK!!
So I might be trying to write the role swap au you so kindly graced this hellsite with. I will ofcourse credit u for everything but FIRST I need some opinions on some ideas
1, would Lloyds power be over wind?
If so I have some ideas about where his character could go ;3
As for his antagonist role, I can think of a few ways he may end up in the services of the preeminent. But considering morro being his cousin and caring about him, either Lloyd would take one of the other ninja or he’d take morro to “protect him” or smthn
2, EMs of fire and water. Imma say for now their sisters. One of them was skylors late mom and the other voluntary gave her powers to Bentho (Skylor and bentho be indirect siblings let’s goo! I can already imagine some cute dynamics between the two)
3, How unagami got his powers is probably similar to how jays family history worked out. Orphaned and adopted at a young age. But something I wanted to explore was how he discovered his powers (I’m thinking that he and bentho found out their powers to a certain degree before garm found em) and that he helped his dad design games and maybe building his own games! Like Hotwiring a game cartridge to mod a game like an emulator lmao. And when that translated into his training, he ended up unintentionally frying a lot of the electronics cause he wasn’t used to using his powers at a voltage like that xD
4, Pixel is an interesting case. As I’m not sure if she should gain her powers in the same way as Zane. But that reminds me of Zane’s power source! I think Borg would spend a lot of time constructing a suitable power source for pixel (probably in seclusion to avoid unwanted onlookers) and borg would meet the master of ice before pixel was even fully built. Borg would take in the EM of ice and talk all about how his daughter was going to “protect those who couldn’t protect themselves” and yadayada and the EM of ice is like “Yaknow what, sounds cool” and casually passes on his powers into the special power source, which when hooked up into pixel fully transfers the powers of ice to her! Thought she doesn’t discover or use them until she meets garmadon.
5, Vania is a bit of a tougher one. I think Vangelis in this would be a dancing instructor, but Moreso Ballet in style. And he would push Vania to pursue a career in Ballet, even though she had a tendency to enjoy running around in the outdoors much like her mother. I also imagine that she, much like her show personality, would have a little collection of pet rocks (cause I say so) and then later in the story her and cole would geek out about collections and overall cinnamon roll overlode.
6, I REALLY wanna incorporate Harumi into this with a different role so Yaknow what, here’s an idea, she swaps with ronin! Becomes a schemer and traveling ‘merchant’ and everything. And ronin is the tragic little boy who loses his parents to the devourer and gets adopted by the royal family. And instead of a romantic subplot between him and morro (not a destiny shipper myself) they have a bonding moment and become close friends quickly, mostly sharing about how rough life can be (morro discussing his own ordeal with his family) and then yada yada friendship betrayal! Maybe I’ll enhance their relationship more and have morro see him as an older brother figure almost. WHO KNOWS I SURE DONT :D
LEMMIE KNOW IF I MESSED UP IN CONCEPTS THIS IS LITERALLY JUST ME DUMPING NY HEART OUT (I need more ideas for unagami poor boy AH-)
Hi Hi! Hello again!!!!
Thank you so much!!! I'm so excited you love this AU!!!!
1, Lloyd's power is no power. I had thought about making him the wind em but it just doesn't make sense as he is Garm's son.
So I definitely need to rewatch possession to get a better idea of what happens but here's what I'm thinking so far: Lloyd runs away to go to the temple of airjitzu in the hopes of learning it will make him more powerful and gets turned into a ghost. He then winds up with the Preeminent and while there hears about a green ninja saving Ninjago. He and his ghost buddies go to find him. Lloyd is very shocked and surprised to find out it's Morro. He decides to possess him and carry on with the plan (while being gentle with his little cousin of course) with the new motivation of maybe not letting a 14-year-old be the destined savior of the world. Season probably ends with Morro talking Lloyd down and getting him to see he was wrong. Lloyd, not believing he can be redeemed, sacrifices himself like cannon Morro.
2, Oh! I like this idea! I don't currently have anything for the previous em of water so I'll definitely try to use that! I don't have any idea who she is rn, maybe I'll make an oc. If you have any ideas definitely send them my way!
3, So for Unagami, I'm thinking whoever the previous em of lightning died when Unagami was very little. Because of this, he's had his element for as long as he can remember and doesn't notice some fairly obvious signs he has it. I imagine he was always really good at Snap Circuits as a kid and played with them all the time. He was almost too good at it. I think now he's really good at messing around with wires and electricity sort of stuff, he just kinda knows where the electric current is and where it's going. He probably does hotwire stuff a lot lol. When he started training with his powers Garm was describing how the lightning element works and little Unagami's like "Wait, that's just me???".
Bentho was given his element pretty recently compared to the others, probably around season 1 time. After he got it he didn't know what it was and spent a bit of time figuring it out. It was pretty obvious, kind of like if the air was suddenly different. He tried to train with it but it wasn't very easy as he didn't have a teacher and nearly knew what his power was. He tried again to undermine Kalmaar and failed again, he got pretty roughed up and took refuge on the surface where he met the ninja. Kalmaar thinks he's dead.
4, Ok ok so Pixal, I think that the previous em of ice was actually a relative of Borg, like an uncle or something. So when he dies without an heir Pixal was just created and was picked to be the next em of ice. Neither of them knew about this until Garm came.
Pixal does have a special power source that Borg made for her but that was just so she wouldn't have to charge someplace, her element doesn't have anything to do with that as that annoys me in cannon lol.
5, So Vangelis is a differently limiting parent than Lou in cannon. He's overprotective of Vania and doesn't let her go out and do a lot of stuff, which has led to her innocent personality. She likes to collect as many nature items as she can on the occasion she's allowed to go adventuring and has a small collection of "pet rocks". Vangelis is a high-profile dance professor at Marty Oppenheimer School of Performing Arts and spends a lot of his time on that.
When MOTM comes around Vania and Cole totally bond over their dorky nature collections, much fluffy for them! (Purely platonic btw, they besties)
6, Oh yes I love that idea!!! Harumi being a sneaky, manipulative "merchant" and Ronin being a little sad boi prince and friends with Morro!!! I imagine Morro and Harumi's relationship would be kind of like Ezra and Hondo's from Rebels (I hope people get that lol). Morro always trying to see the best in her to everyone else's suspicions! I love the friendship betrayal too, still a lot of trust that was broken and huge emotional impact.
Thank you for the ask!!! Feel free to send more questions it makes me so happy to see them and really get's my brain going!!! <3<3<3<3

Alright so my thoughts in Crystalized! Gonna put it under the cut since it might get long.
Overall, I enjoyed this season! I had a lot of fun watching it despite the issues (which I will go into later) I really like what they did with Garmadon. It was just so wholesome to see him trying to do good and I loved Christofern and got genuinely emotional when Garmadon left him behind after believing he couldn’t learn to care about others.
Anytime Pythor was on screen I was happy but that should be obvious to anyone who knows me. But GOD did I miss Pythor. I love him so much and watching his fight scenes were so cool and I just love everything about this stinky snake man.
Speaking of fight scenes though, THEY WERE SO GOOD! The animation was just so amazing like holy crap. AND THE WHOLE DRAGON FORM THING! The fact that they had to jump up, kick back, whip around and spin had me LOSING MY MIND! (in a good way) And the dragon forms themselves looked really cool!
But anyway, I think it’s time to talk about some of the issues. First of all, Lloyd really got on my nerves with his daddy issues. I’ve seen other people mention it and yeah, it’s super annoying how the show just pretends s1-5 Garmadon just never existed. I understand Lloyd being upset, but saying that Garmadon NEVER cared? Excuse me? And also the stuff with Harumi. I could already tell they were setting her up for redemption, which I didn’t know how to feel about, but yeah I did not like how they did that. I mentioned it before but her turning on the Overlord because he just admits that he created the Great Devourer felt really dumb to me. Although I did like the reveal that the Overlord was behind all of that because it was a little headcanon of mine that the Great Devourer was somehow related to the Overlord. Also I had the headcanon that the Overlord can never be truly killed, so getting that confirmed was great.
Speaking of the Overlord, I’m just not a huge fan of him. I was sort of dreading his return because I really didn’t like him in season 3. He was great in season 2 because you had all the drama with Garmadon and stuff like that, but the Overlord just isn’t interesting to me because he’s just evil for the sake of being evil. And I get it, he’s literally the embodiment of evil, but they could have done SOMETHING to make him more interesting.
Also the Ice Emperor coming back literally went nowhere. I thought he was funny don’t get me wrong but like... you could have done so much more with that concept. Initially what I thought was gonna happen was that the Overlord was gonna corrupt him and turn him back into the Ice Emperor but that’s not what happened.
But I think my biggest disappointment was Oni Lloyd. They built that up for so long only for him to transform for like... 2 seconds and then instantly change back because he was afraid of what he had become. I just wish they had him going feral with anger for longer and have an actual fight before he realizes what he’s become and changes back, but no it was just instantly over. And another thing, WU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE AN ONI FORM TOO! THEY JUST NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT!
And the final battle against the Overlord just felt like season 2 but just... not as good. I wish the main four ninja were more involved in that fight instead of them giving up their powers and then Lloyd does the rest. At first I thought that maybe they had actually turned into the dragon, but no those were just their powers in dragon form. I just wish they got to do more in the fight, you know? Especially since this is the finale.
I know I kinda complained a lot, but I did still enjoy this season. It was a fun watch and kinda made me wanna draw some stuff, so yeah. Those were my thoughts.

Hello :D everything ok?I wanted to ask you, how do you think MK11's men would react, his girlfriend is always affectionate with them, but out of nowhere she stopped being affectionate, after a while she tells them that she has pain in her stomach because of too much excitement, she thinks they are really sexy (her arms, legs, chest, all of them) and she wants to have intimacy but she was embarrassed. I adore you!!! Thank you!I adore Raiden and Fujin so much 😍
Mortal kombat Men x Female Reader
(Mind you all I'm a guy so I'll do my best to work this to the best of my ability I sadly don't have all the men but I'll do a few of the boys) if you guys would like more of them I'm happy to do a part 2 to this.
Mention of Sex, sex talks, nsfw mentioned, hinted sex scenes, romance and fluff.
Raiden
Raiden has never really been used to affection, not physical intimacy. But after he met his sweet S/O it became an almost constant contact, it takes him a while to get used to it but all up he loves it, he lose so much tension in his body. He loves having his S/o curled up on his lap, wirh them watching her trashy tv shows or him reading. It's something he has grown so accusation to over the time he's been with his lover. So for her to one day just stop it's almost painful for him. The first day he let's it slide thinking she's just having an off day but when it comes around too the second night. When she doesn't curl up beside him he sits up beside her. " My light?, are you well" he ask softly resting his hand on her shoulder, she turns to face him and smiles sadly. "I'm alright just in a little pain" he's filled with worry and basically scopes her up into his arms. "Do you need medical assistance" she laughs lightly pulling him down into a kiss. "I'm alright Raiden, my body sometimes hurts when I get too excited, I just... I love you alot, and I want to express it more" she explains. He's still worried that he is responsible for the pain she is in. "Is there anything I can do to help with your pain?" She thinks alright before replying. "Umm.. It's kinda embarrassing..." He smiles lightly as he holds her close. "You do not need to be embarrassed with me love" he presses a soft kiss to her forehead. "I... I want to be more intimate with you" "as in intercourse?" His lovers face goes bright red as she blushes. "Yes, but only if your interested" "We will take it slow, you will need to instruct me, as I have never done this before"
Fujin
Unlike his brother Fujin love physical contact from the start. This man gives amazing hugs and will quite literally sweep you off your feet. So he will realise very quickly when his S/o is distancing herself from him. "My love? care you alright, you haven't been as touchy as in used to you being, have I don't something wrong?" He will ask hoping he hasn't don't something to offend her. "I'm alright Fu, just in a bit of pain is all, sorry to cause you any trouble" she whispers. He's is quick to pull her into a hug, "Is it anything I can help with, I don't like seeing you in pain love" he says while gently holding her. They stand there Fujin holding his sweet love before she speaks up. "I get this pain when I get too excited and I really love you, your handsome and kind and I love spending every moment with you" she explains while resting her head on his shoulder. He holds her softly rocking back and forth lightly. "I wish to spend every waking moment with you my sweet sunshine, I'm yours" he says as he presses a gentle kiss too her forehead. He can see that she's holding something back, something which is bugging her. "My love, there's something else isn't there?, you can tell me, I will not judge." He reassures her. She looks to him and then to the floor them back to him. "I... I'd like to be more intimate with you if you would like, I.. you.. you make me feel safe when your around and would like to be yours if you will have me" she says shying away. Fujin smiles brightly leaning down to kiss her. "I would be honoured my love, we will take it at your pace, I do not wish to over step boundaries, you are very important to me." He tells her in a hushed voice. "I love you Fujin" "and I You my little sunshine"
Hasashi Hanzo
Hanzo has been thought hell and back literally, he's lost the only people he cared for before his S/o came along. It took him a long time to get used to so much affection, not to mention different in cultures and time. Alot has changed since he was first in earthrealm. Along with being the head of the Shirai ryu, there are alot of thinks he wishes to keep to himself, one of those is you. Although there are many among his students who know of you two he is still very hesitant of showing affection outside of you're home. He loves you very dearly and do not wish to lose one of the few things he holds dear.
But nothing gets past this man, he may not say it right away but he notices the first time you don't take a chance to hold him that day. He sees toy distancing yourself from him and it causes worry over anything. Had someone hurt you? And now he stand beside you in the fire gardens in the late evening. "Chīsana honō, are you well, I've noticed you have been avoid touching me, are you hurt?" Her eyes go wide as she looks at him. "No, no I'm not hurt but I am in pain, i... I get excited seeing you and being near you and sometimes it just hurts inside." She tries to explain to him. He moves closer gentle bring his hand up to brush away some stray hairs hanging in her face, wishing not to spook her. "Have I caused you pain?" She shakes her head before leaning onto his hand. "No, I...I just don't want to push you, I understand that Harumi meant the world to you, and I dotn want to replace her. But I do love you and I want you to be happy" she says as he pulls her close holding her gentle against his chest as they sway lightly in the brezze that rolls thought the fire gardens. "You will never replace Harumi, and I do not expect you too, I am very lucky to have had her in my life for the time I did, and I am so fortunate to have found you, I have been given a second chance at life, and it's one I wish to treasure as much as I can." His voice is soft and it's what his little flame needs to hear. They stand there for a little basking in each others warmth and company. "What brought this on fiery one?, you normally very vocal about your wishes. Have I done anything to dull your fire?" She shakes her head before resting it against his shoulder. "No, I just started thinking things, but do not want to push you, as much as I would love to be more intimate, I understand that you still morne and I do not wish for you to forget Harumi" she says lightly again. Hanzonsighs lightly "perhaps it is time that I do love on, she wa any first love and will always be in my heart, but you are my love as well and you are very dear to me sweet one"
Kuai Laing
Kuai is a little oblivious when it comes to romance not only wirh the way he was raised and how his brother acted when he was younger made the man quite shy in certain aspects and situations but when it comes to how his lover feels and realising they haven't touched him as much as they normally do is is a little concerned. Later that day he seeks them out in the comfort of his own home. He finds his little ice fairy sat on the couch curled up in blankets. He nearly falls face first into her lap as he crawls onto the loauge, something he was still getting used to. "Is it getting a little too cold to hold me now?" He ask lightly looking up into her eyes as he makes himself comfortable with his head in her lap. Her fingers twitch before giving in and running over his face and thought his hair. "No, no Kuai, just haven't been well kinda in a bit of pain" she explains lightly. He speaks up in concern. "Are you hurt?" "No just um.. getting to excited around makes my body hurt sometimes, I enjoy being close to you" she says reassuring him that he's done nothing and she isn't hurt. He sighs in relief as he runs a cold hand up to the side of her face smil ijng lightly as he plays with a small part of her hair. " Is there any way I can make up for such a pain I bring you?" She laughs lightly before smiling at him. "Come up here and kiss me would make up for it" he chuckles moving to sit up and pull here into a kiss, it's heated and sweet something they both enjoy. He pulls away resting his forehead against hers. "I hope that will suffice but I'm happy to give more " he replys. "For someone cold to the touch your fucking hot you know that" he laughs again pulling her closer go his body, wrapping them both up in that blanket. "I know I don't normally watch Television but tonight I just want t to be close to you so put on what ever you wish my little snowflake." He says placing more kisses on her skin. "God's I love you, you know" she smiles leaning up to kiss him again. "And I love you very, very much my sweet love, my little starlight and snow drop."
"Get over here, sweet talker"
Ft sub-zero Bi-han becuase I'm a slut for him
Bi-han did what he wanted most times, he had many lovers over time most were just to saite his desires, but his S/o was very much different form the many woman and men he had been with.
And it's the reason he wishes to take things slow. Even thought it is very much the opposite of how he normally was. He had aged out of his rebels teen years. And found someone that makes him feel complete. Bi-han is the less likely our of the bunch to realise his S/o is distancing herself from him. But when he does figure it out he is very handsy. "My soul, are you alright?, you have been avoiding me. Have I done something to anger you" he ask pulling her close to him resting his head over her shoulder as he wraps his arms around her stomach and pulls her against his chest. "I'm alright Bi-han just haven't been feeling well" she replys earning a rasied eyebrow from him. "Snowflake, are you pregnant?" Is the first thing that he ask. It's quite before She starts laughing lightly. "Bi-han, you haven't even slept with me and I don't exactly leave the house so if hope the fuck not" she says laughing as she leans back into him. "It made you smile, and I do so love it when you smile so brightly my love." He replys and leave small kisses agaisnt her neck. "But that is something I wish to speak to you about" she says turning around to face him. " Pregnancy?"
"No, that I would like you to sleep with me, Bi-han."
"And perhaps get you pregnant?" He jokingly jest . She lightly punches his shoulder. " Do you have baby fever that badly?" She ask looking up in to his eyes. "I just would love to see you with a child, you would make a beautiful mother my love, and perhaps baby fever is part of it too" he hums before pulling hsiblove in for another kiss. "Your a tease toy know"
"Just for you my snowflake"
